Lake Titicaca, Amantani Island

For peace and quiet, you should go to Amantani, a very beautiful island that holds 6 villages. There's a great view and some ruins on the peaks of Pacha Tata and Pacha Mama. You can buy nice textiles for good prices at the Artesania Cooperativa. There's no hotel but you can stay with locals, who also provide meals; electricity is only from 6pm to 10 pm.
