firelord's question:
Does Lima house any art museum?(give a different answer) .
Try at the Palacio de la Exposicion, which houses the Museo de Arte. Here there are more than 7000 exhibits, giving a chronogical history of Peruvian cultures and art from the Paracas civilization up to nowadays. It includes examples of 17th and 18th century Cusco paintings, displays of carved furniture, heavy silver and jewelled stirrups, precolumbian pottery.
