The Museo Nacional de la Cultura Peruana is at Av Alfonso Ugarte 650. It houses a collection of precolumbian and modern artefacts, like mate burilado (carved gourds), retablos, textiles, keros and huaco. There are also examples of ceramics and cloth from some Amazonian tribes and a set of watercolours by Pancho Fierro , the 19th century costumbrista artist.
