The weather in Machu Picchu.

Posted 1 year ago by parker in response to avatar moxie's question: When is the best time to visit Machu Picchu? (give a different answer) .

Actually, the climate in Machu Picchu's National Sanctuary varies widely. Being a subtropical area, it is warm and humid - hot in the daytime, and cool at night. June and July have the coldest mornings. The rainy season is November through March, the the dry season is from April to October. So, I could say that the best months to visit Machu Picchu are May and June, since they are the mildest ones.
