My advice is that the train tickets should be bought at Wanchac station in Cusco, which is on Av Pachacutec. They can be bought 5 days in advance; for the Autovagon and Inka trains the ticket price includes food and drinks, these trains have toilets, video, snacks and drinks for sale.
