The Manu National Park

Posted 1 year ago by pint in response to avatar freez's question: I read somewhere that in the Manu National Park animals just come to eat from your hand, they are extremely domestic...True? (give a different answer) .

The land in the south-east of Peru is so remote that animals have no knowledge of the human beings and they are not afraid. A land untouched by hunting, building or deforestation...Last year I went on a trip with a biologist friend, so I can tell the 4 million acres of the park are home to a stunning number of animals: 1000 kinds of birds, 20,000 plant species and 13 monkey races from the spider monkey to the emperor tamarin. Take a charter flight from Cuzco and see for yourself!
